lovin' his swing!
michael john really enjoys swinging in his new swing! it has been fun watching him gradually start to notice things. tonight he really seemed to notice the little dangling owl and

michael john and i were hanging out with nana tonight and when he got sleepy it seemed like a perfect opportunity for him to nap in their crib, which was also the crib that my brother, john, and i used. nana and grandaddy found a cute little mobile, which michael john loved watching.

a sunday afternoon
with a hint of fall in the air, we took off for the park and broke in our new baby bjorn. michael john seemed perfectly content snuggled up in it and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon. he seems to love the outdoors!
i absolutely LOVE being a mommy and i couldn't have a better husband to share in this joy with!
so maybe he napped a bit during the game, but what guy doesn't on a sunday afternoon at home? either way, he arrived just in time to kick off the season with his football lovin' mom and dad :)

michael john and the humphrey crew!
the humphrey crew is growing and happier than ever!
this is one of my favorite moments- watching hudson ever so gently love on his new little cousin. before we know it, the two little guys will be running around together entertaining us all! what fun that will be! i am so glad they are so close in age.
how cute is little hudson?!! although, next to michael john, he doesn't seem quite as little!
uncle john, aunt charity, and hudson meet michael john for the first time!

our beautiful boy
craig and i cannot stop admiring our beautiful little michael john. every time we look at him, it seems it is worthy of another picture. the way he is snuggled...the expression on his face...everything about him is beautiful...
